Ahoy Maties! KGLC students Ryan Greene, Chnoa Manso, Kaylie Zemke, Juliana Maldonado, Khila Sanchez, Kayla Neils, Alivia Davila, Christopher Corps, Jack McDonnell & Evan Kowalski have finished dressing in the pirate uniforms they created in order to begin searching for the hidden treasure.
Shouting their best pirate "Arrrrrrrrrrhhhhh", KGLC students: Megan Butler, Ariana Alston, Elizabeth Briers, Ashanti Monroe, Brianna Gravell, Ryan Greene, Isaiah Jackson, Khila Sanchez, Christopher Corps, Lavonne Wilson, Jack McDonnell, Evan Kowalski, Kaylie Zemke, Chnoa Manso, Justin Emery, Samantha Pettola, Alivia Davila, Juliana Maldonado & Joshua Pelletier believe they have found the secret hiding place of the pirate's treasure chest.

Armed with a number of digging implements, the KGLC nursery school and kindergarten students begin digging for the treasure. After several minutes of furious digging, the children finally found the hidden pirate's chest full of gold and jewels.
After taking the "KGLC Buccaneer Oath", promising to split the booty equally amongst all pirates who helped the find the hidden treasure, the students took turns selecting pieces of gold or gems from the newly discovered pirate's treasure chest.
