OUR INFANT / TODDLER TEACHERS
“Ms.
Debbie” Terrusa – employed since September 1, 2006
Deborah Jean Terrusa was born in New Haven, CT and was raised in Wallingford, CT. She married Edward & is the proud mother of three daughters: Angelina, Cassandra & Josephine.
She is a graduate of Sheehan High School and Middlesex Community College. She is currently taking continuing education courses in Early Childhood Education as she works toward her CDA degree through the State of Connecticut.
Prior to joining our family, she worked as a childcare provider at Healthworks and was a frequent volunteer at Highland Elementary School in Wallingford, CT. She and Maria had been friends for years as their girls attended many of the same classes and programs. It was only when Healthworks closed that Maria was lucky enough to lure Debbie to join OUR FAMILY.
Ms. Debbie serves as one of KGLC’s infant/toddler teachers. Her warm heart and years of experience make her a tremendous asset to KGLC. In a short time she has touched the lives of her students and the families in our community.
Debbie enjoys cooking for family and friends, entertaining and spending time with her daughters. Her favorite day is Sunday because she is able to spend the entire day together with her family. She is an advocate for children’s rights and is constantly working for expansion of Early Childhood Education Programs in the State of Connecticut. Debbie has also been an outspoken supporter of funding for the State’s Care-4-Kids program.
Besides her oWn family, she enjoys watching your children grow and learn. We hope she realizes just how lucky KGLC is to have her as a member of OUR FAMILY. We do!
