“Ms. Sherry” Rimkoski – employed since September 18, 2006

 

Sherry Lynn Rimkoski was born in Daytona Beach, FL and moved to Connecticut when she was 11 years old.  She lived in Trumbull, CT and graduated from Trumbull High School before going on to college.

 

Ms. Sherry has an AS Degree in Food Management from Manchester Community College and also attended Rochester Institute of Technology before starting her own catering business.

 

Sherry was married to Robert Rimkoski in 1991 and later moved to Wallingford, CT.  Together they have a beautiful daughter, Rachel.

 

After working as a caterer, she was offered a position as an international coordinator for Subway World Headquarters in Milford, CT.  Her territory covered most of the Canadian provinces.

 

Sherry left the Subway after 6 years to stay at home to raise her daughter.  After 4 years at home caring for Rachel as well as a few nephews and a niece, she accepted a position with Healthworks in Wallingford as the manager of the babysitting department.

 

In addition to managing the department Sherry taught children’s art classes.  She continues to teach children’s craft classes at the Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department, Glaze Art Studio as well as the Meriden Shop-Rite Supermarket.

 

Sherry is also a part-time cake decorator for Shop-Rite, where she has been working for over 6 years.

 

Her family also includes 2 beta fishes named “Icefire” & “Crown”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Miss Gaby” Veguilla – employed since March 4, 2010

  

 

Gabriella Veguilla was born and raised in Meriden, CT and graduated from OH Platt High School in 2008.  She resides in Meriden with her mom, dad, two brothers and their dog, Daisy.

 

 

She is presently attending Middlesex Community College and is majoring in education with a minor in computer science.  Gaby hopes to eventually become a computer science teacher.

 

 

Miss Gaby served as an assistant teacher and worked closely with the teachers to plan and implement the educational program.  She is willing to fill-in where needed and her smile brightens KGLC.  She is now ready to fill the role of a nursery school teacher.

 

 

Gaby is eager to learn and utilizes what she learns in her classes every day.  Our children love her easy way and calm demeanor when she speaks with them.

 

  

Gaby has a big family, so she is always babysitting her younger brothers and her cousins.  In her spare time, Gaby loves to visit with friends and loves to shop.

 

 

KGLC is lucky to have her as part of OUR family and we’re sure she’ll enjoy her time with the children and families of our center.
