(Meriden, August 2004) – Kinder-Garden Learning Center & Childcare (KGLC) has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children – the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals.

“We’re very excited that KGLC has received such a distinguished honor and we’re overjoyed that our staff has finally received the recognition they so greatly deserve,” said Maria Neubauer, director of Kinder-Garden Learning Center.  “NAEYC Accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences.”

Kinder-Garden Learning Center was founded in 1995 by Maria Neubauer after a long and exhaustive search to find childcare for her first child.  “I was not satisfied with the options available to working parents and wanted to find a place that stressed a family environment with early learning and social skills for the children.  When I could not find what I was looking for, my husband convinced me to create a place for families with a similar ideology”, said Mrs. Neubauer.  KGLC is located at 20 South Broad Terrace in Meriden, CT.
